Bangkok
We are exploring new models of participation—creating space for community voices to become a driving force in urban development, while also opening the door for the private sector to take part, support, and actively contribute.
01
Prok Arun Community
Leftover tiles from the restoration of Wat Arun were creatively repurposed to reduce waste and promote sustainability. Through a coaster-making activity, participants not only enjoyed a unique hands-on crafting experience, but also helped create distinctive handmade items. Air Canada then donated these pieces to the Prok Arun community to be used as souvenirs for tourists—helping generate local income and support the community.
02
Phra Nakhon District
The private sector collaborated with the Phra Nakhon District Office to establish waste-sorting stations at the “Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2024–2025” festival. This initiative aimed to create an efficient environmental management system within a large-scale event. The result was properly sorted waste that could be resold, generating income to further support environmental initiatives and sustainable waste management efforts—again in collaboration with the Phra Nakhon District Office.
